We stand still. The water cupping the sunlight in the sea hurt our eyes. We'd seen the miracles in Egypt. In this post, I imagine what it's like to be an Israelite standing at the Red Sea with Pharaoh's army bearing down and how this story spoke to me now.

The crossing of the Red Sea all intermingled with your life, your horse, your fears of losses, etc., is just how I feel much of the time. You capture so much with this piece. My memory is getting spotty here and there. I turn to the Lord, who truly knows and is never condescending.
