God is so good. How wonderful to be gifted with such loving friends.

I ache for you as I read your story. I was lonely as an only child growing up on the farm, but my parents had many ways of showing me love. What a hard way to grow up.

Perhaps one of the reasons that you are so creative with light is that for much of your life you were lost in darkness.

Katie, you have done great work with yourself! So glad to know you!

Thank you so much. Growing up as an only child had to be hard but I’m glad your parents showed you such love. Not sure I was lost so much because the Lord found me when I was very little. But I won’t deny I walked through a lot of tears, but I’m learning those can be a spiritual gift. You would love Maggie Ross’s Icon of the Heart I think.

The Lord is good how he heals us.

I remember the Proctor’s at the Methodist church when I was much younger. What wonderful memories you have of them.

They were wonderful and kind to us. In other coincidences Wally Taylor was a friend of a teacher from Michigan that I knew at NIU. I thought it was amazing how small the world can be.

Thank you, Katie.

We all have one helluva history behind each of us going all the way back to the Fall and, by His Grace, to His Cross and Empty Tomb. And then what a Heavenly Glory awaits the childlike and wise, huh!
