Oh, Katie! I’m so sorry you had to say goodbye to Little Dog. They are such a sanctuary for our hearts—the sweet, innocent victims of the fall. Praying comfort for your heart, friend. Much love to you. 🩷

Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words. That is a good way of putting it, how our dogs are a sanctuary for our hearts.

Truly Psalm 46 sets the stage for the Lord's way in the middle of chaos and war: Be still and know that I am God: I will be exalted ...in the earth! Thank you, Katie, for your heart for stillness in our times.

The ache. As I read i sometimes feel I'm going down dead end culdesacs each eliciting different feelings? Then I come to the place they all meet.

We share an ache of life and bear it with hope in those sure promises that tune our ears anticipating the trumpets that harold the coming of the one who WILL make all things new!

Thanks for sharing.

Those cutdesacs that join sound pretty accurate about how I write. Oh yes on tuning our ears to those trumpets. How I wish He'd come soon. How I wish for everything sad made untrue...Thank you for your kind words.
