Your heartfelt reflection is one that while different circumstances moved me to remember my own struggles with reconciliation. And to not give up hope on those we have for whatever reason become estranged from. Thank you for sharing this story with us all. God works on our hearts and soul in ways beyond our understanding.

Oh yes. The Lord does work in our hearts. When things are broken I remember the story isn’t finished yet. I believe death doesn’t stop that reconciliation from happening. God is that good.

God gives us what he wants us to have to shape is into the people he wants us to be - for our blessing and the blessing of his creation that his glory may be magnified.

I often groan under his love, groaning at my groaning. Oh for the day he will make all things new- even me.

Thank you for sharing such struggle and such victory.

I very much believe it—that God gives us what he wants to shape us into the people he wants us to be. Someone else said he loves us too much to let us stay the way we are…I’m looking forward to that day as well. I think it can come in glimpses here, now.
